Boston has tons of tourists, here to see where the US of A began. Sometimes, when I’m walking by a historic monument, tourists hand me a camera and ask me to take their picture. They usually don’t pay attention to me closely. They just jump back into formation and smile broadly. Cheese!
The only problem is that camera buttons are always on the right side, my bad side. So I have to explain, sometimes in pantomime, that I am disabled and I am happy to take their picture, but it will be upside down so I can use my left hand to click the button. The tourists look slightly confused. Disability is more complicated than a vacation.

My left side is affected, if I go to Boston and bump into you and a tourist that wants a picture taken we could take the picture using our two good hand between us.

Too true! I don’t mind talking about my disability except with strangers in a rush, as I don’t know how to sum it up briefly.
