Hospital / Wellcome Images

One of my roommates in the hospital was a woman who had a stroke because she had stopped taking her medication for high blood pressure. (High blood pressure is one of the most common causes of strokes.) She was a nice lady, but I remember being annoyed at her, because she could have avoided everything — stroke, hospital, therapy — if she had simply taken her pills.

I’m not angry at her anymore.

I bet she takes her meds now.

Have you ever been angry at a fellow patient?

Not a patient, but I do have problems with the support network as I detailed in: Mrs Doubtfire tries to correct my aphasia

Anger is not the correct word to describe what I’ve experienced, but I don’t know what is.
