Last week I participated in a study that is trying to improve stroke victims’ walking. They used an exoskeleton around my bad leg. Then I walked on a treadmill and it gave me electronic cues. Still in its infancy. I will go back.

Earlier studies…

Have you participated in scientific studies?

Balancing stroke demands with baby demands is tough. I try to be efficient: Nursing while doing hand exercises! Napping baby and leg exercises! I only partially succeed.

Any tips?

We took our son to see grandparents, his first airplane trip. Beforehand we were wondering whether babies need to have some sort of identification for air travel. My husband looked at a US government website. It said no ID necessary. Then it said: “passengers cannot leave babies in an infant carrier and attempt to put it through the X-ray machine.”

Noted.
