My speech therapist gave me all kinds of tests to determine which parts of language were giving me trouble. He held up pictures of nouns and asked me to identify them. “What's this?” he asked. It was a picture of a “yoke.” Damn. “It’s what oxen wear,” I said. I hated those flash cards. Did you have words that gave you trouble?
