I once sat across from a stroke stranger on the Boston T (subway). He was older, had a cane as well as the hand that didn't work. I could tell that he had noticed me. Suddenly, at the top of his lungs he yelled, “She has the same problem that I have!”

At the hospital I lost about 20 pounds in a month.

When a visitor asked me what she could do for me, I told her to go out on the town, have a good time and report back.

Today at the rehab hospital my physical therapist put me on a trampoline. I used to love jumping around when I was a kid. Boing!
